LightHouse Automotive Helps Customer Find Peace of Mind Before a Long Road Trip

June 14, 2017

Exhaust Service | LightHouse Automotive

Leanne was getting ready for a long road trip from Colorado Springs to Omaha, Nebraska. However, she knew better than to just hit the road without making absolutely sure that her car was in good shape. After all, nobody ever wants to break down or have car trouble when away from home.

Leanne thought it would be best to call the team at LightHouse Automotive , the Colorado Springs auto repair experts. She had read online reviews and knew ours was a trusted name for automotive services. Leanne was able to make a same-day appointment and we were happy to help her out by performing a full vehicle inspection before she left for her trip.

"This place fit me in last minute to do a complete check on my car," Leanne says in her online review. "My car was in tip-top shape for my trip, and it was ready the same day. They're military friendly as well!"

When Leanne brought in her car, we took it into the LightHouse Automotive shop. Our team of experienced technicians performed a thorough external inspection. One of the most common things we look for is the level of all the different fluids in a car (oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, antifreeze and even windshield washer fluid). We also check to make sure the fluids are of good quality and showing no signs of damage. In addition, we inspected Leanne's brake pads and rotors, tire treads, oil filter , air filter, windshield wipers and exhaust system, among a few other key things. In some cases, we may even recommend running a full diagnostics review, but this wasn't necessary in Leanne's case.

Ultimately, a few little things needed to be taken care of, but her car was in very good overall shape. It's clear she is a customer who takes pride in taking care of her vehicle. When you perform regular maintenance according to the factory recommended schedule , you will have a car that performs better and lasts longer. Even if there were no problems, Leanne was wise to bring her car into LightHouse Automotive for a check-up before her long road trip. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

"Great crew and great customer service," Leanne concludes. "I recommend them to everyone I know."

Thank you Leanne for your kind remarks. We hope you turn to LightHouse Automotive for future auto repair and vehicle maintenance needs.

For anyone that needs a thorough vehicle inspection, preventative maintenance services, new automotive parts or major automotive repairs, you can count on the experts at LightHouse Automotive . Call us today at (719) 465-0302 or schedule a service appointment online.
