Customer Gets A/C Recharged at LightHouse Automotive

June 17, 2020

When summer starts to roll around, we get a number of customers coming into LightHouse Automotive who are looking for air conditioning tune-ups, repairs and coolant recharges. It makes perfect sense as the weather is beginning to heat up and having an A/C system that works properly becomes more important than ever.

Ryan visited the LightHouse Automotive shop in Colorado Springs recently because he needed to get his A/C coolant recharged. It's a pretty standard and basic automotive service, but it is one service that is best done by trained professionals. Air conditioning coolant (aka Freon) can be dangerous to work with and you don't want to take any chances, especially if you are already dealing with any sort of leak. The "simple" do-it-yourself recharge kits and spray cans rarely work that well or last very long. It's the kind of job you want to get done right by someone who knows exactly what they are doing.

"Came in for a very simple A/C recharge," Ryan says. "Excellent service, friendly and engaging staff, and the price was more than fair."

Getting the A/C recharged in Ryan's car was no problem. There weren't any other repairs or maintenance services he required, so we were able to get him in the shop and back out on the road as quickly as possible. The LightHouse Automotive staff made sure his coolant was recharged properly and safely, and then we tested the air conditioning system to confirm that it was blowing cool air once again. Sometimes there are other air conditioning issues to deal with (dirty vents, failing thermostat, worn cabin air filter, etc.), but in Ryan's case only a simple recharge was needed.

"No matter what you may need done to your car, this shop will give you pleasant memories of a mechanic shop that treats you fair and won't put you in the poor house," Ryan adds. "Great job guys (and gal). Keep up your positive attitudes and you'll still be here for many years."

Thank you, Ryan, for the kind words and for your loyal business over the years. Just let us know anytime you ever need our help with automotive repairs or maintenance services.
