LightHouse Automotive Replaces Engine for Used Truck Owner

September 18, 2019

Steven bought a used 2012 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hem i from a local car dealership in Colorado Springs. Unfortunately, they neglected to tell him about certain mechanical issues that the truck was having. It was still under warranty, but Steven still experienced problem after problem and nothing was ever quite fixed properly.

"I took my truck in several times throughout the warranty length, but they fixed nothing," Steven says. "I brought my truck to LightHouse and Rylan [Blair, owner] made sure everything was taken care of from there."

We do not want to put any local dealerships or other auto repair shops down, but this is not the first time something like this has happened to one of our customers. Sometimes, someone else just isn't able (or willing) to get to the root of the problem and make the necessary repairs. In such a case, it's never a bad idea to seek out a second opinion. If you need automotive help and want to make sure the job is done right, LightHouse Automotive is the team to trust.

Rylan brings many years of experience in auto repair and he is backed by an excellent team of mechanics and automotive specialists. We do our best to ensure that things are repaired correctly the first time around. That said, we also offer an excellent warranty program on most parts and repairs performed at LightHouse Automotive . If a problem does occur, you can rest assured that we have you covered.

"They found out that my pistons were bad and I needed a new motor," Steven adds. "Within 5 days of saying 'go ahead,' they had my truck back to me. It's running better than it ever has. They were very professional and kept me up to date with everything. I received a phone call the minute they ran into any problems. I never had to guess where my truck stood or when I would get it back."

It's unfortunate that Steven was put in this situation in the first place. Another service that LightHouse Automotive regularly provides is pre-purchase vehicle inspections. If you are thinking of buying a used car, you have the right to have it inspected by a neutral third party. That way you know exactly what you are buying, especially if there are any problems with the vehicle. Either way, Steven was finally able to get his engine issues resolved and now he can truly enjoy his truck.

"I'm normally pretty critical of mechanic shops, but this place left no room for me to complain," concludes Steven. "I'll definitely use them for anything else I need."

If you are in the Colorado Springs area and in need of automotive repairs, maintenance or a pre-purchase used vehicle inspection, call LightHouse Automotive today at (719) 465-0302 or schedule your service appointment online.
