Keeping Your Vehicle Maintenance on Track

April 22, 2020

It's an interesting time right now. There are less drivers on the road as people are staying at home as much as possible. However, many essential workers are still commuting to and from their jobs every day. They need their cars running well. Others may not be driving much, but that doesn't mean they should be ignoring standard vehicle maintenance tasks. Eventually, we will all be back to work and other daily activities!

Taking Care of Automotive Needs

In fact, now is a good time to get preventative maintenance procedures taken care of or having more significant auto repairs completed. Perhaps you have been putting off certain repairs and maintenance because of your busy schedule. It can be easy to let things slip when life is in the way. If you are staying home, there may be some automotive tasks you can do yourself. You can check the oil, wash the car, clean the interior, replace the air filter and check tire pressure if you have a gauge. Make sure the vehicle is in good shape for whenever you need to drive it.

Always Here for You

If you are in the Colorado Springs area, feel free to call LightHouse Automotive for some tips and advice. Our shop remains open as an essential service business, so we are here to help you as we always are. You can schedule a service appointment or let us know what repairs you might need. We'll be happy to inspect your vehicle and provide a full report of our findings. Just let us know what you need and you can count on our team to provide the answers and information you seek.

Preventative Maintenance Plans

Whether you are a past customer or a new customer of LightHouse Automotive , we keep detailed records of every vehicle that comes through our shop. We can keep your preventative maintenance program on track by sending you reminders when services are due and pre-scheduling appointments for oil changes, tire rotations, brake services and more. We'll do everything we can to keep you up-to-date and keep your vehicle(s) running well.

Staying Safe

We do highly recommend that you call ahead right now and book an appointment. With social distancing and other COVID-19 safety measures in place at our auto shop, it helps when we don't have a lot of walk-in customers that can create crowds and back-ups. If you are feeling sick or are in a high-risk group, please stay home and call us. We will work with you to get your vehicle to and from the LightHouse Automotive shop or arrange for after-hours vehicle drop offs and pick ups where you don't need to come into our office. Things are a little different right now, and we will do everything we can to keep our customers and our staff safe.

When you need Colorado Springs auto repairs or preventative maintenance services, call LightHouse Automotive today at (719) 465-0302 or pre-schedule your service appointment online.
