Customer Turns to LightHouse Automotive for Second Opinion on Auto Repairs

April 3, 2019

Our Team | LightHouse Automotive

Edmond has having problems with his car, so he brought it into a local auto shop for repair recommendations. He wasn't entirely convinced by their assessment, so he wanted to get a second opinion. Edmond asked around and one of his friends told him to take his car to LightHouse Automotive for a proper inspection and honest advice.

"Great service and done in a timely manner!" Edmond writes in his recent online review of LightHouse Automotive. "Heard about this place through a friend and took my car in to get a second opinion."

After performing a thorough inspection of the vehicle and running some diagnostic tests, the automotive technicians at LightHouse Automotive determined a different problem than what the other shop had told the customer. In fact, the repairs that were actually needed were much less complicated or expensive than the other shop's recommendation.

It's never a bad idea to get a second opinion on your vehicle, especially when a repair facility or the dealership recommend major repairs. Sometimes there are other solutions that may be more cost-effective or a different problem could be discovered. Even if the same problem is diagnosed, it's still good to have a second opinion before committing your time and money to the necessary repairs.

"Turned out that the place I took my car to initially (won't say any names) told me an entirely different thing that was allegedly wrong with it, probably so they could get more money out of me," Edmond adds. "LightHouse Automotive cut to the chase and now my car runs great! On top of that, I received a $25 coupon for future work!"

Thank you, Edmond, for putting your trust in LightHouse Automotive to provide a second opinion and perform the repairs you needed. We're here to help any time you need us.
